Meet the Founder

I’m Azzy, founder of Ìdẹ̀ra by Azzy.
I live with sickle cell disease and chronic pain. My reality includes flares, fatigue, and the constant work of managing energy, while still wanting to live fully.
I’ll never forget a 4+ hour flight where my pain kept rising. My rechargeable heat pad died, and with only a USB port, I spent the whole flight charging it for a few minutes, wearing it for a few minutes, repeating the cycle just to cope. I was stressed, overwhelmed, and trying to self‑soothe quietly in my seat. I needed real support, both physical relief and emotional grounding, and I didn’t have it.
That moment made it clear:
I needed a heat wrap that didn’t rely on charging, grounding words that helped when my mind spiraled, and small reminders that validated what I was feeling.
I couldn’t find them, so I started creating them.
ÌBA is being built for moments like that, when you are managing pain, managing stress, and still trying to get through your day. Our air‑activated heat wraps, affirmation card deck, and stickers are designed to offer both comfort and emotional relief.
We haven’t launched yet, but we’re building with intention and lived experience at the center.
