Ìdẹ̀ra by Azzy (ÌBA) is a Canadian comfort and lifestyle brand designed for life’s harder days.
The name Ìdẹ̀ra means comfort, ease, and wellbeing in Yoruba. It reflects the belief at the heart of everything we create: comfort isn’t a luxury. It’s something everyone deserves.
Inspired by lived experience with chronic illness and the realities of invisible challenges, disability, caregiving, burnout, and changing capacity, ÌBA creates wearable warmth, thoughtful resources, and everyday comfort tools designed with real life in mind.
Because even on difficult days, life continues. There are still responsibilities to manage, places to go, people to care for, and moments you want to be part of.
So everything we create begins with a simple question:
How can we make life’s harder days a little easier to navigate?
We’re building more than products. We’re creating a community rooted in the belief that comfort matters, accessibility matters, and people deserve to feel considered in the things designed for them.

Meet the Founder
Hi! I’m Azzy, founder of Ìdẹ̀ra by Azzy.
I live with sickle cell disease and chronic pain. My reality includes moments of exhaustion, unpredictability, and the constant work of managing my capacity while still wanting to live fully.
One of the experiences that helped shape Ìdẹ̀ra happened on a flight. The rechargeable heat pad I relied on for comfort died, and with only a USB port available, I spent the rest of the trip charging it for a few minutes, wearing it for a few minutes, and repeating the cycle over and over again.
I remember feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, and wishing there was a simpler way.
That experience stayed with me long after the flight ended and sparked a question I couldn’t let go of:
What if comfort was designed with real life in mind?
What if it fit into the moments when life doesn’t slow down, when you’re travelling, working, running errands, or simply trying to make it through the day?
That question eventually became Ìdẹ̀ra.
Today, I’m building products, resources, and reminders shaped by lived experience and the everyday realities that are so often overlooked. Thoughtful tools designed to bring a little more comfort, ease, and encouragement to life’s harder days.
Ìdẹ̀ra is deeply personal to me, but it was never meant to be only about my experience. It’s for anyone who has wished everyday life made a little more room for what they’re carrying.
